Dear Owner,

Piggy Bank 2
COUPONS...DISCOUNTS..OH MY! I must admit, I'm not a couponer.  It's difficult for me to keep up with all of the special circumstances that come with the benefit of using a coupon.  I was feeling very proud of myself yesterday.  I had gotten a coupon for $1 off Cottonelle bathroom tissue at Food Lion last week.  As we were in need, I took my coupon to the store, got up to the checkout counter, and presented my coupon.  The cashier examined it carefully and said "Ma'am, I'm sorry but this coupon is not good until February 12.  Instead of saying ?!@#$%, I sighed and emphatically stated, "I hate these darn coupons!"

So, I told you my story to lead into information regarding The Grape & Ale's latest effort to attract folks in the off season.

From now until the end of April, we are instituting 10% Tuesday'sAll wines, beers, and merchandise will be 10% off every Tuesday.  However, the $2 off coupon you receive on the back of the Lowes or Food Lion register tapes may not be combined with that offer.  Oh well, that means you have to see our happy smiling faces twice a week or more!  Also, coupons and discounts may only be applied to Non-sale items.

See you this weekend at the Pit!

Warmest Regards,

Candace & Jim Hobbs

Our featured wines TO CELEBRATE VALENTINE'S DAY of the week are:

2010 Montes Cherub Rose of Syrah - Magenta in color and spritzy, with aromas of chunky red plum, cherry and citrus.  There's nothing off or stinky here, but for some reason it seems a little heavier and less precise than it has been.  Look for pink grapefruit, brine and berry flavors and then a long, almost hot finish.  87 pts.
