Hello my book club gals! It is on with author Tod Johnson to skype with us on Nov 15 Sweet By and By. I am having some technical difficulty with hooking skype to my big screen. Will ask my friends Jim and Honey Martin who sell video phone equipment for help. We may need to consider options. If you are on FB please read Tod Johnson posts from my wall. There is excellent article about him on my wall. Will stop by shop to discuss details with Ms Candace. Lovin my new part time schedule hrs.

My husband and I were in during our week-long trip to the ceach cottage at Oak Island the first week in August. The lady that was in the store (someone who only works infrequently) was terrific. Though I am usually a dry red/heavy tannin kinda gal, she suggested the most delightful Riesling (Sun Garden) for us to try. We left with a bottle, along with a few other purchases, and I couldn't be more pleased! We will definitely visit again when we are back at the cottage!

Just had to tell you how much we love the Tangerine! Our friends left us a 6-pack (they were coached to shop The Grape & Ale) after a weekend at our beach shack. I thought it was the *perfect* beach beer. Refreshing, fruity, not too heavy but with enough body to be interesting. Fabulous!

Visiting Oak Island again at the end of May and coming to the Grape and Ale is on the TOP of our list of things to do! Can't wait. :)
